I was impressed right away Mitchell's thorough reading and connection with the script. He was always generous with his time and eager to listen to my ideas. His composition melded wonderfully with the underlying mood and emotional balance of the story I was trying to tell. Mitchell's intuition enables him to work fast and gracefully. I merely described the film to him in very limited terms.
